Basic Sewing for Youth

Join us for Basic Sewing Workshops for Youth! In collaboration with Trellis and the Calgary Foundation, these FREE workshops will teach basic sewing techniques across three sessions.

Viewpoints is so excited to offer this three-session program, taught by Carleen from April 25 to May 23, for youth aged 12-17!

Session 1: Introduction, hand mending and sewing a button

  • April 25, 2025: 4:30 pm-6:30 pm

Session 2: How to take body measurements, drafting and cutting

  • May 9, 2025: 4:30 pm-6:30 pm

Session 3: Sewing and preparing the final product

  • May 23, 2025: 4:30 pm-6:30 pm
