Closer to Home Community Services Receives a Unanimous Land Use Approval Vote by City of Calgary Councillors.
With a unanimous City Councilors vote, Closer to Home Community Services (CTH) is excited to announce the approval of land use for their future six-story home. The land use approval means that CTH is one step closer to bringing more people together to heal, grow, learn and thrive. This space will be where children, families, communities and cultures can come together to form meaningful relationships—all under one roof.
A purpose-designed community hub creating positive futures for children and families is coming to West-Central Calgary.
Karen Olivier, CEO of Closer to Home, says, “we are so thrilled to have the unanimous support of our City Councilors to continue our journey. The community hub on Bow Trail and Spruce Drive will provide access to wraparound cultural and parenting supports, onsite programs, employment and more opportunities for people to connect with their cultures and neighbours. And for 18 families, the top three floors will be a place to call home.”
CTH’s community hub will be a space where all Calgarians can come together to change the future of our city as we grow stronger together. To learn more about CTH and its vision, please visit: closertohome.com
Thanks to all our partners & friends who’ve been working with us on this project. And a special thanks to our Board, our CEO, Karen Olivier, Calgary Foundation and MTA.
We are stronger together!
