Make a difference this year for a family in need
Goodbye Halloween, hello Christmas! Alright, so Christmas is still 55 days away, but if you like to get your shopping done before December hits, you are probably already thinking about it anyway. While you’re thinking about what the perfect gift for a loved-one might be, the staff here at Closer to Home (CTH) are getting ready for our biggest campaign of the year, Adopt-a-Family.

Thanks to generous, community minded donors, every year we are able to help meet the needs and wishes of the families we support, and every year that need for support grows. During the 2011 holiday season, Closer to Home, along with various organizations and community members, provided over 300 children and families with gifts and food. This year, please help us to once again show every child, youth and family the generosity of the community that supports them.

The process is simple:

1. 1. Submit your completed Donor Application Form to our office using one of the methods indicated on the form

1. 1. We will match you with a family based on the criteria you list on your Donor Application Form

1. 1. We send you your family’s wish list

1. 1. You go shopping!!

What if you are not able to go shopping but you still want to help? We have that covered too! You can donate cash or a cheque and a CTH employee will do the shopping for you.
