All My Relations Healing Powwow

The fourth annual Powwow will be a place for all nations and community members to gather, celebrate, participate, and learn about Indigenous culture and traditions.

The gathering will include a full-contest traditional dance component. Dancers across Alberta and beyond are welcome to participate in the event; no registration is required this year.

A Powwow celebration is powerful and can unite people from all Nations to celebrate identity, relationships, and cultural practices. Through songs, drumming, and dancing, Powwows offer a safe space for healing. The power of the drum represents the heartbeat of a person and a community; it helps us connect with ourselves and the natural world around us.
