Seen & Heard is a 5-week program for parents to meet and learn from each other through story-telling. Parents will meet with Knowledge Keeper, Darcy Turning Robe every week for a sharing and drumming circle. This circle will allow parents to open up about their life experiences and intergenerational trauma, which will lead to self-discovery and empowerment. This program is intended for parents & caregivers who are looking to gain social connections & gain knowledge from cultural teaching. This program is not intended for service providers.
This program provides a safe space for parents of all walks of life to come together and build strong community connections and will run every Wednesday from 10:00 am-11:30 am starting March 23, 2022.
